A traditional line guided conventional type reel does not have synchronized line guide & lever guide in dual directions, which will result a bent line, and breaking the line-guide when a large fish is on the hook. The JM UnderHead is the first of it's kind to be equipped with Jigging Master's synchronous line guide / lever guide. If the angler accidentally winds in all your line past the line guide during maintenance, the JM UnderHead line guide can be reset all the way to the left or right without the need to re-spool the entire spool.
UnderHead Design: THE Handle positioning and rod displacement of a UnderHead reel mimics a traditional spinner reel. This allow a spinner reel angler to transition to a Jigging Master UnderHead without having to learn a new jerking motion, or having to buy a new rod. The UnderHead is far more sophisticated for short-pump fighting and has way more drag and torque versus a spinner reel. 100% CNC Construction and anodized finish:
Every Jigging Master fishing reel is 100% CNC machined out of a solid piece of military grade aluminum to achieve maximum strength, maximum durability, maximum precision, maximum performance, and to optimize the stunning anodized II finish. CNC precision manufacturing process is time consuming and not found in common mass production products. The lengthy CNC processing starts each reel off with a solid block of aluminum, to be slowly shaved down into shape in the duration of a few hours per reel. The molding technologies used by mass production companies are cheaper and faster, but results weak spots, and will almost always have imperfections. Each Jigging Master reel is also treated with the lengthy process of anodize II coating, and hand assembled by a certified master technician for maximum performance.
